Dr. Teck Hong Oh (Teckie) received the Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) from the University of Melbourne’s Dental School. Whilst studying at the Dental School, she received the following grants and awards: John Iliffe Scholarship (Top student prize in BDSc 4) Bertha Bennett Prize (Highest aggregate in BDSc 4) Frances Gray Prize (Best performance in oral rehabilitation) Dean’s Honours List Melbourne Dental School Summer Research Grant (Research topic: “ Radiographic evaluation of root canal obturation quality: Conventional lateral compaction vs Guttacore.”) Dr. Teckie is currently engaged with the Dental School as a research team leader assisting undergraduate students. She also teaches at the Dental School as a pre-clinical demonstrator. Dr.Teckie is a member of ADA (Australian Dental Association). Dr. Teckie is aligned with Docklands Dental Studio’s vision and philosophy of “give”. Her treatment plans are patient-centred and focus on prevention to avoid subsequent aggressive intervention. Dr. Teckie can also communicate in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Malay.
